Kidney failure does not wait for a hospital bed

We are opening a dialysis centre in Lilongwe. If you or your organisation might help fund it, leave your details and we will be in touch.

No payment is taken here. Nothing is committed.

Three times a week.
Every week.
For life.

That is what dialysis means for someone whose kidneys have failed. Miss it and they get sicker. There is no version where they simply go without for a while.

The problem

Travelling for hours to be treated is not treatment

When the nearest machine is a long journey away, people miss sessions, and missing sessions is what kills them.

Where the money goes

Machines, the consumables every session uses up, water treatment, and keeping the cost to each patient as low as we can.

Give what you can

There is no minimum and no amount to enter. We would rather know who you are than what you might give.

Registering takes about a minute

Then a person calls you. That is the whole process.

  1. 01

    You leave your details

Seven fields, most of them optional. It takes about a minute on a phone.

  2. 02

    We call you back

A person from the centre, not an automated message. We explain where the project stands and answer your questions.

  3. 03

You decide, or you do not

There is no obligation at any point. Plenty of people register, hear us out, and leave it there. That is fine.

One machine changes what happens to a family

If you can help fund one, or part of one, or you simply want to know more before deciding anything, tell us how to reach you.
